Kapangan Hydropower Project is a run-of-river (RoR) system Located in Kapangan, Benguet. The Project involves the construction of about 25 kilometers of access roads; almost 9 kilometers of tunnel with 3.5m diameter; a powerhouse located in Santol, La Union with 3X20MW installed capacity and around 24 kilometers of transmission lines connecting to NGCP Substation in Bacnotan, La Union.
NMS is engaged as Owner’s Engineer (OE) for the Project to supervise and manage construction on behalf of the owner to ensure that construction is in accordance with the design and in conformity with international quality and safety standards. Forecasted annual energy generation is about 300 GWh to power around 124,000 households.
