The 92-kilometer undersea link of CTS/MVIP is a 350 kV HVDC submarine cable between Santander, Cebu and Dapitan City. The Project was awarded to Nexans by the National Grid Corporation (NGCP). Nexans Norway engaged Norconsult Phils. for Project Site Administration and Management which include quality management, health, safety and environment services.
Implementation of the project continued amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and was finally completed in December 2022.
